In terms of what inspires me, here it is in a nutshell: As a mom to three precocious kids, nothing excites me more than to create work that not only envisions, but fashions a world where the media, images, and writing my kids engage in everyday reflects them, as bi-racial, bi-cultural, gender expansive people.
